Occupational Health and Safety
Loras Holding has determined the protection of the social, psychological and physical balances of its employees as one of its top priorities in all business processes. In order to raise awareness among its employees, the company has continued to provide Occupational Health and Safety trainings every year. Loras Holding has provided a total of 9,360 hours of training to 1,494 employees on Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene, Basic First Aid and Fire.
Change Management
As part of the restructuring efforts at Loras Holding, a group-wide "Change Management" project has been launched. This project aims to build a Loras Holding that is more integrated with the present and the future. Within the scope of the “Change Management” project, which was initiated based on the necessity of a dynamic structure that can easily adapt to the changes experienced in today's world where competition, communication and technological speed, innovative thinking are strong and fast, a team with the intellectual knowledge to lead the change, and a strong management will to transform the change into development and make it sustainable; performance-oriented revisions were made regarding business processes, and projects were carried out regarding the development of internal communication and social values of the group.
Loras Artı
Loras Artı, which was implemented with the aim of making the plus of being a Loras employee feel more intensely, serves as an open and transparent communication platform for everyone who is a Loras employee. In the “Loras Artı” communication platform; a structure was created where employees can participate in all internal communication applications, receive information about developments in the companies, use it as a feedback tool on any subject, share information accurately, completely and without causing gossip within a wide area and most importantly, show their talents. Four online training programs (Orientation, Behavioral Principles, Cashiering and Effective Sales Techniques) have been implemented on the “Loras Artı” communication platform.
Corporate Agreements
In institutions affiliated with Loras Holding, special discounts are offered to employees and first-degree family members for product and service purchases that vary according to their field of activity. In addition to increasing loyalty to the institution, these discounts allow employees to evaluate quality products and services as well as external customers, and on the other hand, they allow employees to recognize other in-group brands outside of the institution they work for.
Individual Retirement
In order to provide a more reliable future for its employees and to direct their savings to investment, Loras Holding signed an individual retirement agreement with MetLife in 2014, and over 3,000 Loras employees were included in the individual retirement system. Loras Holding has started to benefit from the individual retirement system for 1,287 new employees. Within the scope of the agreement, the contribution amount determined by Loras Holding every month is deposited into the individual retirement accounts of the employees. Within the scope of the employer-sponsored group retirement plan, which provides flexible payment options, the premiums deposited by Loras Holding and its employees are evaluated in halal funds established within MetLife.
Motivation
Loras Holding continued to organize various internal communication and motivation activities in order to increase the motivation of its employees. Throughout the group; books were given to the children of employees, congratulatory messages were sent to employees via SMS and e-mail on special days, picnics were organized in the summer months and iftars were organized in the Ramadan month, 2,700 saplings were planted and participation in football tournaments was provided.
